Tom and I are so excited to be traveling to Olive Branch, Mississippi to be a part of the Art Is...You Dixie event!!! It is going to be amazing and magical and awesome and mystifying and....well, you get the picture.
Sal and Ellen, those two beautiful faces you see in the above image, are the creators of what has become THE mixed media art retreat to attend on the East and West Coasts and down South. If that weren't enough they are now going down under to Australia and online for The Reality Retreat!!!

What does this mean for you? Well, if are in Mississippi/Tennessee or anywhere down South, or in or near Petaluma, California or around Stamford, Connecticut or hanging in Australia's various retreat locations or, well, if you just happen to have a computer you can use and a mailing address you can be a part of this amazing tribe of artists known as Art Is Youers. Well, I just created that moniker but it's fitting and sounds nice too. :)

Dixie will be held at the beautiful Whispering Woods Hotel and Conference Centre in Olive Branch, Mississippi and will run from April 27th through May 4th. That's right there will be 7 days of creativity, friendship, bonding and sharing!!!

There are some truly wonderful workshops and extracurricular activities planned including the Trunk Show where you will be able to find original pieces of art and vintage goodies to add to your collections and creations.
